Happy.

Having been separated from running for so long, the memories have faded, and I’ve forgotten how much I love running.

But this morning, I did a five mile run/walk (2/1). Afterwards, I felt so good. As if everything was right in the world. I truly love running. It centers me.

Ada the Dog is very happy too, because she also loves to run. Also, because I give her extra food when she runs.

As I write this, perhaps the endorphins are still lasting from my run 11 hours ago, but I’m happy. I’m happy that, though my recovery has been sloooooooooow, and I still struggle with tendinitis, I’m moving forward. I still can’t run 5 miles without walk breaks, but at least I can get out there and get some miles in!

I’m feeling good!

What’s making you happy this weekend?

Having chill time last night and a chance to talk to my mom on the phone made me happy :)

Those running endorphins are the best, that feeling is hard to replicate with other activities.

Agreed! Back when I ran 5 days a week, I’d get soooo grumpy if I didn’t run for 2 days…I think I was addicted to the endorphins!
